Paul Chahidi
Paul Chahidi (born Giv Paul Khatib-Chahidi, 22 August 1969 in Tehran, Iran) – Iranian-born British stage and screen actor, Tony and Olivier nominated, winner of a Theatre World Award and Clarence Derwent Award for playing Maria in the all-male Twelfth Night at the Globe and on Broadway. His most notable film roles include Nikolai Bulganin in The Death of Stalin (2017), Cecil Hungerford in Christopher Robin (2018), Chief Constable Spedding in Wicked Little Letters (2023), and Fellowes in See How They Run (2022).
On television he is best known for Rev. Francis Seaton in This Country (2017–2020), Sandalphon in Good Omens (2019), Charles de Bourbon in The Serpent Queen (2022), Uncle Hamid in Chad (2021–2022), and Basil Karapetian in The Night Manager (2016, 2026).
