Ann Shoemaker
Ann Shoemaker was an American character actress whose prolific career spanned over five decades across theater, radio, film and television. She appeared in roughly 70 films and TV movies between 1928 and 1976, frequently portraying refined, commanding or maternal figures, most famously playing Sara Delano Roosevelt (the mother of FDR) on both Broadway and in the acclaimed 1960 film adaptation of Sunrise at Campobello.
