Rafael Denogias
Raphael Denoyas (sometimes also Raphaelo Denoyas, Athens, 1914 – 1983) was a Greek actor and tenor.
He obtained his license to practice at the age of 28. He worked with a musical troupe in Italy and also had his own troupe. He formed a duet with his wife, Lela Passali, who was an actress and soprano.
In prose and theater he collaborated with Katerina and Mimis Kokkini. He staged Sakellaridis' operettas Sweet Nana and Daughter of Sin.
He made his first appearance in cinema in 1932 in the film Greek Rhapsody. Since then he has played mainly small roles in films, such as The Card Game (1964). In the early 1960s, he presented musical comedies in Athens and Patras with his wife. He was a friend and roommate (from 1969 until his death) of fellow actor Chronis Exarchakos.
He appeared on television only once in a television series, on ERT, playing in the comedy series Mia Athinaia stin Athina, in 1976.
