Halina Łabonarska
Halina Łabonarska (born 15 August 1947 in Gdańsk) is a Polish theatre, film, and television actress. A graduate of the acting department of the National Film School in Łódź, she began her stage career in the early 1970s at the Bogusławski Theatre in Kalisz and later performed at the Nowy Theatre in Poznań and several major theatres in Warsaw.
Łabonarska has appeared in numerous films and television productions, gaining recognition for roles in films such as “Aktorzy prowincjonalni” and “Europa Europa”. She has also been active in television series, including “Na dobre i na złe” and “Korona królów”, where she portrayed Queen Jadwiga.
Over her career she has received multiple theatre and film awards and has been honoured with several Polish state decorations, including the Gold Medal for Merit to Culture “Gloria Artis”.
