Andrey Mironov
Andrei Aleksandrovich Mironov (07/03/1941-16/08/1987) was one of the most popular and beloved Soviet stage and film actors. He acted in many acclaimed comedy films such as "The Diamond Arm" and "The Unbelievable Adventures of Italians in Russia." One of his most notable roles was in the television film "The 12 Chairs," where he played the leading role of Ostap Bender. He died in 1987 at the age of 46 as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage.
