Kayhan Yıldızoğlu
Kayhan Yıldızoğlu (28 May 1933 - 9 March 2024) was a Turkish film and TV series actor. His father was an agricultural engineer of Circassian origin and his mother was a teacher from Crete. In 1955, he did his military service as a reserve officer. Upon his return, he became a foreign exchange commissioner at the Istanbul exchange office. While working there, she was invited to an acting audition by Muhsin Ertuğrul after completing his missing documents. When he was liked at the auditions, another era opened for Yıldızoğlu.
Yıldızoğlu, who made his first film in 1966 under the guidance of Haldun Taner, generally played priest, doctor, commissioner and supporting roles in Turkish cinema. In 1969, he lived with Şener Şen in an apartment in Cihangir for 3.5 years. Yıldızoğlu has appeared in over 150 movies and also in television series. In the series Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu on Kanal D, he played a role nicknamed Yüce Majeste. Kayhan Yıldızoğlu was married to Suna Yıldızoğlu, who was also a movie actress.
Yıldızoğlu died on March 9, 2024 at the age of 90 in Istanbul due to old age.
