Gregório Duvivier
Gregorio Byington Duvivier is a Brazilian actor, comedian, screenwriter, author, and political commentator. He graduated with a degree in literature (Letras) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). His early professional training developed over a decade at the Tablado theater school, leading to the co-creation of the improvisational theater show Z.É. - Zenas Emprovisadas. He achieved widespread national recognition as one of the primary co-founders, writers, and performers of Porta dos Fundos, a digital comedy production company that became a major satirical platform in Brazil.Duvivier's professional output spans multiple media formats, including poetry volumes, long-form non-fiction books, and regular opinion journalism columns for major press outlets. His cinematic and television work includes roles in Brazilian feature films and the writing of international productions. Between 2017 and 2023, he hosted Greg News on HBO, a weekly late-night satirical news program focused on Brazilian politics, institutional compliance, and socioeconomic issues.
