Miguel Louie de Guzman

Miguel Louie is a Filipino multimedia producer, director, and writer whose work spans documentary, journalism, advocacy, and the arts. He has worked with non-government organizations including Greenpeace Southeast Asia and IDEALS, producing videos and other multimedia content on social justice, human rights, and environmental issues. He has also worked as a program researcher for GMA News and Public Affairs, contributing to shows hosted by award-winning journalist and documentarist Kara David, like Pinas Sarap, I-Witness, and Bright Side.

His short films include Ang Nagliliyab na Kasaysayan ng Pamilya Dela Cruz (2018), which won 15 out of its 37 nominations in various local and international film festivals, and Ang Pasiong Mahal ni Beverly Apostol, which won 8 out of its 10 nominations in the 14th Lipa City Film and Video Festival. The latter holds the distinction of being the most awarded entry in the history of the festival.
